CalSAC has been supporting the out-of-school time (OST) field during the pandemic as they responded to student needs both remotely and virtually. As schools prepare to reopen and OST programs gear up to welcome young people back to in-person school, CalSAC is working to ensure that organizations and staff have the tools, training, and resources they need to lead successful and high-quality programs in this new and unprecedented landscape.
CalSAC has opened a search for a Director of Programs to lead CalSAC’s efforts in providing innovative, relevant and responsive professional development and training for OST programs and professionals. In addition, CalSAC will also hire a Program Coordinator to support our training programs. Here are some details:
Director of Programs
The Director of Programs position holds an important role in advancing high-quality programs, assessing and meeting professional development needs of constituents, inspiring engagement within and outside of the organization, and effectively cultivating strategic partnerships to expand services and attract believers.
This is a full-time, hourly exempt position. The annual salary range for this position is $72,000-$84,000 and is commensurate with experience.
Anticipated start date is October 4, 2021. The position is currently remote.
Program Coordinator
The Program Coordinator conducts coordination, outreach, marketing and recruitment for 3-4 projects. The scope of responsibility includes coordination of projects, ensuring event flow, tracking high volumes of data, creating marketing materials, and providing support and customer service to program participants, trainers and agencies.
This is a full-time, hourly non-exempt position. The hourly range for this position is $20.19-$21.63 per hour and is commensurate with experience.
Ideal start date is September 7, 2021. Position is currently remote.
