About CalSAC Training
CalSAC provides training in an array of content areas from foundational skills needed to work with children and youth to leadership skills for supervising staff and managing programs. Training is also provided on timely topics areas such as STEM, working with English Learners, bullying prevention, restorative practices, Summer Learning and supporting social-emotional learning and character development skills development. Onsite Training - CalSAC training is hands-on and utilizes an experiential adult learning approach. Training is available as two hour sessions, in a training series, or as a package with coaching and technical assistance.
eLearning Courses - CalSAC offers 20 FREE eLearning courses made possible by the California Department of Education. CalSAC's Collabornation eLearning Environment also includes hundreds of courses relevant to afterschool, summer and school-age care including a 36 course series with in-depth curriculum content, interactivity, and certificates.
