About the Afterschool Outside 5K

Why is it Important?

Your contribution will enable us to provide financial assistance to organizations and individuals, making these programs accessible at low or no cost. By signing up, you're not just participating in a race, but also voicing your support for the out-of-school time field.

The Opportunity

Here's the exciting part - participants from across California will be joining in, making it a statewide event! Everyone will run at the same time, but in different locations, adding a unique twist to the race. Upon registering, you'll receive a CalSAC Afterschool Outside T-shirt*, a bib, and a sponsorship page. This is more than a 5K event, it's an event that unites communities and supports the out-of-school-time field.

Youth Advocate

This level of participation is only for Youth and must be purchased with a higher registration level to join the team of an adult’s sponsorship page.

This level of participation provides youth with their own Race Bib.

CalSAC Collaborator

This level of participation provides you with an exclusive Afterschool Outside T-shirt, a Race Bib, and a Sponsorship Page.

Invaluable Impact

This level of participation provides you with an exclusive Afterschool Outside T-shirt, a Race Bib, a CalSAC Tote Bag, and a Sponsorship Page.

Community Builder

This level of participation provides you with an exclusive Afterschool Outside T-shirt, a Race Bib, a CalSAC Phone Wallet, a CalSAC Tote Bag, and a Sponsorship Page.

Once you sign up for the Afterschool Outside 5K, you'll gain access to a digital sponsorship page. This online platform lets you come up with a unique team name and approach others for sponsorships for your run! It adds a fun, community-building aspect to your participation.

Additionally, you have the option to invite your family, friends, or even professional colleagues to join your 5K run. They can be a part of your team, contributing to the spirit of camaraderie. Alternatively, they can help raise funds for your cause, adding to the impact you make. It's an excellent way to combine fitness, fun, and philanthropy.
