Compensation: Annual Salary Range: $62,000-$70,000

Job Description

PCY seeks a Technical Assistance Manager to support the delivery, management, and day-to-day operations of all PCY capacity building and technical assistance work. The ideal candidate will have facilitation experience and strong organizational and people skills. Additionally, this candidate is flexible and responsive to the needs of partners, can work independently and as part of a team, and has experience/familiarity with both expanded learning and the K-12 education systems in California. The TA Manager will report to the Program Director.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The TA Manager will:

  • Organize delivery of technical assistance and related capacity-building supports to schools, community-based organizations, and affordable housing organizations

  • Plan, facilitate, and implement webinars, trainings, and workshops (live and virtual)

  • Communicate, prepare, and coordinate with field experts and practitioners

  • Prepare materials, such as agendas, resources, slide decks, and follow-up meeting notes

  • Manage and support PCY’s Learning Management System

  • Provide technical support to event participants

  • Analyze evaluation data and track outcomes

  • Conduct desk research as well as interviews and meetings to understand program-level challenges and bright spots

  • Manage databases and contact information across PCY’s TA projects

  • Project manage development of new field tools and resources

Qualifications

  • Comfort with facilitating meetings, convenings, and trainings

  • Experience planning and hosting virtual and in-person professional learning

  • Self-starter with flexibility and adaptability with new and changing needs and context

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects and assignments in a fast-paced environment

  • Expertise in expanded learning programs

  • Strong commitment to and understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion

  • Solid organizational, reasoning, and decision-making abilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills
