Dear CalSAC Community,

CalSAC is pleased to announce Sara Reyes as our Interim Executive Director (read Sara's message to the field here). Sara has over 20 years of leadership, transition, and management experience in non-profit and community-based organizations. This long history of successful leadership most recently includes serving as Senior Division Director for the Children, Youth, and Family Development Division of Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County. Sara is a CalSAC Leadership Development Institute (LDI) Alum (2012 cohort) and former CalSAC Board Member (2015-2020). We are confident that Sara's skillset and commitment to the CalSAC mission will provide the strong leadership CalSAC needs during this time of transition.

Sara will partner with the CalSAC Board of Directors on organizational planning and staff on program operations. We are extremely grateful to her for taking on the Interim role as we seek a new Executive Director to lead the organization. The Board of Directors plan to incorporate the input of staff, board members, the out-of-school time community and other key stakeholders as we move this process forward.
