Application Process

Through a highly competitive application process, CalSAC will accept 60 new professionals across California to join the Trainer Network in Fall 2019.  If accepted into the Trainer Network, participants are required to:

• Attend a 60-minute pre-Training of Trainers (ToT) orientation webinar. If you cannot attend one of the scheduled webinar dates we will schedule a one-on-one orientation call with you.

• Complete self-reflection prior to the ToT, developed from the trainer competencies.

• Attend in full the 3-day Training of Trainers Institute (ToT) October 17-19, 2019 in San Mateo County, CA.

• Submit a one-time fee of $400. This fee covers the full trainer certification process: three days of professional development at the ToT (meals, materials and shared accommodations for two nights), mentorship, observation, and certification support between October 2019 – June 2020. Travel to the ToT and to subsequent trainings is not included. Full and partial scholarships are available and will be assessed upon acceptance.
