CalSAC connects out-of-school time leaders to a vast network of their peers, organizations and resources to help them develop professionally and deepen their impact on the children and communities they serve. When individual providers increase their skills and confidence, it benefits not just the young people they work with, but the strength of the out-of-school time field as a whole.
The Trainer Network has evolved since its inception in the 1990s with extensive support from the CA Department of Education and various foundation grants. Through its history, over 1010 individuals have become trainers, implementing over 17,000 hours of training.
