Summer TA Network Project

Are you ready for summer?

Summer programs have the potential to improve academic achievement and learning readiness for participating children and youth. Begin developing your program with training, technical assistance and tools created by leaders in the summer programming field!

The Summer Technical Assistance Network Project prepares programs and staff by introducing elements of high-quality programs and tools aligned with summer learning leaders in the field including the Summer Matters CampaignASAPConnect and the National Summer Learning Association

Why Does Summer Matter?

Summer learning loss, the phenomenon where young people lose academic skills over the summer, is one of the most significant causes of the achievement gap between lower and higher income youth and one of the strongest contributors to the high school dropout rate.
